The Thaumaturge's Robes are craftable as soon as research into Enchanted Fabric is complete. A full set, which does not include a headpiece, costs 19 Enchanted Fabric, and a small amount of Aer, Aqua, and Terra Vis. The full set also reduces all Vis expenditure (casting and crafting) by 10% (chest - 2, legs - 2, feet- 1, and Goggles of Revealing -5 when you complete this research).
The Thaumaturge Gear can be dyed in the same manner as leather armor, and also can be cleansed of dye by dipping them in a vanilla minecraft cauldron.
The set provides similar protection levels to Leather armor, but has a greater enchantability (on par with gold?) and far greater durability.
