The Paving Stone of Warding is a magically infused block which prevents all manner of monsters and animals from walking on top of it. Only yourself and other players are able to walk across these types of stones without hindrance.
It should be noted that the Paving Stones of Warding only prevent monsters from walking across it, any airborne creature can pass the border created by these stones. This also means that by placing any blocks above these stones will negate its effect.
It should also be noted that the Effect will be negated if a Wand Focus: Warding is used on them.
It is possible to turn off the magical effect of the stones by applying a redstone signal to it.

You have discovered a way of turning arcane stone blocks into mystical wards that will prevent most creatures from crossing them. It should be noted that these wards aren't always 100% foolproof and they cannot prevent other players from entering an area, but they keep most of common threats at bay. they will also prevent golems from crossing them. For best results you need an unbroken line of them between the area you wish to protect and the outside world. An active redstone signal will disable this block.
